Put them up on blocks and sandwich the washed and sliced fruit between them. Flip over and dry the other side after a few hours in very hot sun. Oven drying is done in a shallow baking pan at a very low temperature for several hours. A dehydrator is the best, most effective and easiest way to dry food. Try apples, bananas, peaches and even grapes. Store in an air tight container.
